Editorial Policy

How SwapKing content is produced, reviewed, updated, and corrected. What we publish. What we refuse to publish.

Scope

This policy applies to every narrative page on SwapKing: the Solana guides, the FAQ, the Methodology and Security pages, token pages, swap pair pages, and any other written content. It does not apply to live Solana market data, which comes from named third-party sources and is displayed with its own timestamp conventions as described on the Methodology page.

Who produces content

SwapKing content is produced by three functional desks: the Lead Analyst (market data and methodology), the Security Researcher (security pages, incident reporting, and wallet-safety guides), and the Technical Editor (terminology accuracy, mint verification, and internal linking). The full scope of each role is documented on the Authors page.

How AI assistance is used

SwapKing uses AI tools to assist with drafting and structuring content, but no page is published without human review. Every page must pass through the Technical Editor, who verifies that: (a) SPL mint addresses match live Solana accounts; (b) every named Solana DEX is currently operational; (c) every internal link resolves to a live URL; (d) the terminology matches the definitions on the Methodology page. If a page cannot pass all four checks, it is not published.

We do not publish AI-generated content that has not been reviewed. We do not use AI to invent sources, statistics, or quotes. When a page cites a number, that number comes from a named third-party source or from SwapKing's own on-chain data collection, and the source is documented on the Methodology page.

Review checklist before publication

Every page must pass the following checks. If any check fails, the page is either corrected or dropped.

  1. Factual accuracy. Every number, mint address, DEX name, and Solana term is verified against a live source.
  2. No absolute claims. The page does not call anything "safe," "best," "guaranteed," or "risk-free" without a stated scope and method.
  3. No financial advice. The page does not recommend buying, selling, or holding any token.
  4. No price predictions. The page does not forecast prices or market direction.
  5. Consistent definitions. Any term that also appears on the Methodology page uses the same definition.
  6. Working internal links. Every link resolves to a live URL on this domain.
  7. No external solicitations. The page does not direct users to social media, paid services, or third-party offers.
  8. No unverifiable numbers. Statistics like "95% of new tokens are scams" are not published unless they are attributed to a specific named source with a stated methodology.

What we refuse to publish

SwapKing does not publish any of the following, regardless of demand:

  • Price predictions for any SPL token.
  • "Best token" lists or ranked recommendations of any kind.
  • Specific financial, investment, legal, or tax advice.
  • Unverified claims about audits, partnerships, or token holdings.
  • Content that presents any specific SPL token as safe without qualification.
  • Content that requires a specific token to be held in order to access SwapKing services.
  • Press releases or paid placements presented as editorial content.

Update cadence

Different page types are updated on different schedules:

Security, Methodology, Status pages: updated whenever the underlying behavior changes. These are the pages most likely to receive structural revisions.
Token pages and swap pair pages: reviewed periodically and whenever a user reports an error. Mint addresses, listed DEXs, and any specific liquidity claim are re-verified at each review.
Guides: reviewed when Solana behavior changes, when a user reports an error, or on a periodic schedule. Dates are only refreshed when content materially changes. We do not bump dates to imply freshness.

Corrections

Substantive corrections are made on the page and logged below. Minor copy edits that do not change meaning are not logged. If you find an error, write to [email protected] with the URL and a short description.

Change log

October 2026 — Site-wide content and structure revision

Removed external social media references throughout the site. Reduced the total number of pages from roughly 250 to approximately 110 in order to remove low-value templated pages. Rewrote token and pair page templates to require unique, page-specific content before publication. Expanded the Security, Methodology, Status, Authors, and Editorial Policy pages with additional detail on scope and review processes. Removed the Organization sameAs property from structured data because SwapKing does not maintain verifiable social media accounts.

September 23, 2026 — Initial publication of this policy

Initial publication of the SwapKing editorial policy. Added the Security, Methodology, Status, Authors, and Editorial Policy pages. Updated FAQ and About pages for Solana scope and disclosure.
